How does it make you feel when someone helps you? Even if you pay them to help, it still feels great to get help when you need it.
At least that’s the case for me.
Today, I went next door to my sister’s house to offer a little help. It went like this:
- Remove, test and reinstall thermostat in master bathroom. All good.
- Install new light fixture in niece’s bedroom. She was thrilled.
- Replace three light bulbs in upstairs hallway.
Everyone thanked me, and my niece did so about five times.
The point? It felt good to help.
